Following are the steps for applying to our school: (if you are interested in our preschool, please visit this page.)
1. Visit us: Please call the school office at 415-221-8558 to schedule a visit with our principal and students.
2. Complete an application: For priority consideration for Kindergarten, the deadline is December 12, 2011. Your child should be 5 years old by November 1, 2012 to be considered for our incoming Kindergarten class.
We accept applications for transfer students throughout the year. In order for your application to be processed, it must be accompanied by the following:
· non-refundable $50 application fee
· photocopy of your child’s birth certificate
· if Catholic, a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate
3. Give evaluation form to your preschool: For Kindergarten applicants, the evaluation form should be given to your child’s preschool and returned directly to us by your preschool. This should not accompany your application.
For students entering grades 1 through 8, please have your child’s previous school send us report cards and standardized test scores for the past two years.
4. Come for the assessment: Once your completed application has been received, we will contact you to schedule an appointment for your child’s Kindergarten readiness assessment or, for transfer students, to have your child “shadow” one of our students.
