We see the parents as the primary educators. As parents work to develop their child holistically (spiritually, academically, psychologically, physically and culturally) we, as educators, are here to reinforce what has begun in the home. We are dedicated to guiding our students to form a thinking conscience, and to learn to make sound decisions, so that they may be responsible adults of tomorrow. Because Star of the Sea Schools exists for people, it is our desire to lead each other, and our students and parents to real love and respect for each individual.
We see effective education as a stewardship. As gifted individuals we share knowledge and resources available in order to make the world a better place. Through our academic curriculum we strive to call forth the very best each student has to offer. Our students' gifts find affirmation through our holistic educational program that addresses religious, intellectual, social aesthetic, emotional and physical needs. |
